Station 1 is located on the west side of the City near Wal-Mart at 185 S Lake Road N. It houses Ladder Company and Engine 3. The Chief's office is also located in Station 1 along with our meeting room. Station 1 was completed in 1993 under the supervision of then Chief Raymond Jones. It has 2 drive-through bays deep enough to accommodate 2 pieces of apparatus in each bay. Station 1 is also known as "The Uptown Station." In the event that the Scott County Emergency Communications Center goes off line, we can dispatch our units from Station 1. Also located at Station 1 is our Training Tower
Station 2 is located in the Cities "Downtown" area at 188 S. Railroad St. Station 2 houses Engine 1, Engine 2, Rescue-51, 1948 Mack, and the 1934 Dodge. At Station 2, we have a work out room, a TV room, a S.C.B.A. bottle fill station, and multiple pieces of fire fighting memorabilia. Originally Station 2 was a Oldsmobile Dealership. In the early to mid 1970's The Scottsburg Volunteer Fire Department INC. purchased the building and lot that surrounded the structure. Station 2 has 3 back-in bays. Station 2 is also known as the "Downtown Station." At this location is our Safe House.
